Manager, Specialist Sales – SME

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Specialist Sales – SME to lead the development and execution of its SME sales strategy across Georgia and Armenia. This role operates at both strategic and operational levels, driving revenue growth and profit for SME payment products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive SME sales strategy for the Georgia and Armenia markets.
• Manage a strategic sales pipeline to grow existing SME portfolios across financial institutions and non‑financial institutions.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities, build ecosystems within the SME segment, and commercialise signed deals to deliver measurable revenue impact.
• Support or lead regional Expert Sales initiatives aligned with Mastercard’s business and revenue goals.
• Identify business and product innovation opportunities within the SME payment space.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise and end‑to‑end project management by coordinating with cross‑functional partners.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of SME payment products and services, particularly SME cards.
• Significant sales and business‑development experience within the SME sector.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and a strong track record in the payments industry.
• Proven account‑management capabilities, understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
• Strong project and relationship‑management skills, with experience handling multiple initiatives and stakeholders across multicultural environments.
• Excellent negotiating and influencing abilities, able to drive results through indirect reports.
