Full-Time Physical Therapist - Acute Care

About the role

The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive rehabilitative care to acute care patients, aiming to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. Services are delivered across the continuum with a focus on quality, cost‑effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and revise treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals.
• Conduct patient assessments, establish treatment goals, and evaluate progress.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans per departmental protocols.
• Maintain ethical practices, confidentiality, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Communicate effectively with team members, participate in meetings, and support a positive environment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities.
• Comply with organizational policies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist and BLS certification.
• Effective communication, customer service focus, team orientation, and basic computer skills.
