RN - Acute Care Medical Telemetry Full-Time Night Shift

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care medical telemetry unit during the night shift. Working within an interdisciplinary team, the RN follows professional standards, organizational policies and evidence-based practices while respecting cultural diversity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes using critical thinking and clinical standards.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal-focused care.
• Coordinate safe and efficient delivery of care, ensure accurate documentation, and promote a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Support performance-improvement initiatives, participate in research, and uphold organizational safety policies.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a skilled nursing workforce.
• Engage in professional development, continuous competency assessments, and evidence-based practice activities.
• Contribute to protocol development and resource management to enhance patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years direct patient-care nursing experience.
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
