Food & Beverage Captain

About the role

The Food & Beverage Captain leads banquet and restaurant service for group functions at our Tbilisi property, ensuring seamless coordination between the kitchen, service staff, and guests. You will be the primary point of contact for guests, handling special requests, dietary needs, and overall satisfaction throughout the event.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate service requirements to chefs and stewards for all functions.
• Prepare, present, and reconcile group checks and total charges.
• Set up banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee‑break areas, including table settings, centerpieces, and proper placement of china, glass, and silver.
• Inspect cleanliness and presentation of all service items before use.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address special meal requests, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to all safety, security, and company policies.
• Uphold uniform standards, professional appearance, and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb, standing or walking for extended periods, and other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in food & beverage service, preferably in a banquet or hotel environment.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience overseeing service staff.
• Ability to communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and maintain a professional demeanor.
