Director of Rooms Operations

About the role

The Director of Rooms Operations leads the strategic direction of the hotel’s rooms department, ensuring alignment with brand standards and financial objectives. This senior position reports to senior hotel management and is responsible for delivering the brand’s service standards across all rooms operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the rooms team, communicating clear departmental goals and brand service vision.
• Develop and execute operational strategies that support profitability, reviewing expenses and auditing costs.
• Monitor rooms revenue performance against budget, manage occupancy, rates, wages and controllable expenses.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences by driving service quality, reviewing feedback and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with direct reports to implement brand initiatives, promotions, and special offers.

Required profile

• Fluent in Georgian and English.
• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or a related field with 4 years of relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales, marketing or management operations.
