Engineering Manager

About the role

MEDvidi is an AI‑powered mental healthcare platform looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of its engineering tracks. This is a leadership role focused on driving organisational change, not on delivery management or technical authority.

Key responsibilities

• Drive engineering‑wide initiatives—technical and non‑technical—identifying bottlenecks and delivering measurable improvements.
• Enable engineers by creating conditions for ideas to surface, removing blockers, and supporting autonomous delivery.
• Own people baseline: hire, onboard, and grow engineers at multiple levels, set performance standards and address underperformance early.
• Advance AI adoption across the organization, expanding the use of agentic AI in development workflows.
• Partner with product managers to ship intuitive, reliable user experiences while preserving team autonomy.

Required profile

• 3+ years managing engineers in a product company (not agency or outsourcing).
• Proven track record of initiating and delivering engineering or process changes that impacted multiple teams.
• Comfortable being hands‑off on code, architecture, and technical decisions.
• Experience removing intermediate management layers or working directly with engineers.
• Fluent Russian and strong communication skills, prioritising data‑driven decisions.
