Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead consultants and contractors to deliver real‑estate construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role combines technical construction expertise with strong project‑management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all construction activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, industry standards, and QA procedures.
• Implement and continuously improve quality‑control measures.
• Monitor progress, report on work performance, and manage supervising consultants and key contracting staff.
• Lead the development, tracking, and adjustment of project budgets; provide strategic input on cost‑saving and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for accurate financial reporting and budget maintenance.
• Review and act on submittals, variation requests, and site instructions to keep budgets on track.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks in partnership with legal and risk‑management teams.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met, implement safety protocols, and monitor site conditions.
• Provide regular status updates and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction projects, consultants, and contractors.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and quality‑assurance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and control project budgets.
• Experience in risk identification and mitigation.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and reporting skills.
