Cash Register Operator

About the role

The Cash Register Operator works full‑time on‑site at the Caucasus Medical Center in Tbilisi. The role involves handling patient payments, issuing receipts and ensuring accurate cash, card and electronic transaction processing while supporting front‑desk operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process patient payments and issue receipts for cash, card and electronic transactions.
• Verify billing information and reconcile cash‑register balances at the end of each 16‑hour shift.
• Maintain accurate transaction records in the billing system.
• Provide courteous front‑desk support, answer payment‑related questions and collaborate with administrative and financial staff to resolve discrepancies.
• Register medical cases in the billing system and participate in patient discharge documentation.
• Complete administrative closure of patient records and update the system accordingly.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of medical and financial documentation.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports to the manager in the required format.

Required profile

• Higher education, preferably in a medical field.
• At least one year of experience in a similar cash handling or billing position (preferred).
• Highly motivated to grow and develop.
• Results‑oriented with a strong sense of confidentiality and data protection.
