Senior Accessibility Tester

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior Accessibility Tester to ensure that digital products meet the diverse needs of users with disabilities. You will lead testing efforts, mentor junior testers, and collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to embed accessibility throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the testing backlog and complete accessibility testing requests.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate accessibility testing into the product lifecycle.
• Partner with the Testing Lead to ensure timely, accurate delivery of testing outcomes.
• Act as a thought leader by recommending testing strategies and influencing decisions based on data.
• Mentor and train accessibility testers, creating test plans, scripts, and documentation.
• Perform quality audits and advise on ways to reduce accessibility defects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in information science, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of testing experience in software or web development.
• 4+ years focused on accessibility testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience interfacing with senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1 (AA) guidelines.
• Expert use of assistive technologies such as JAWS and NVDA.
• Proficiency with automated accessibility testing tools.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (or similar) for bug tracking.
