Software Engineering Manager (Python)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager with strong Python expertise to lead and grow our engineering team in Georgia. You will manage resources, build a Python competency, coach engineers, and create an engaging work environment while working remotely from anywhere in the country.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to software development, uphold corporate and project engineering standards.
• Establish long‑term client partnerships, manage expectations and ensure successful delivery.
• Define project schedules, prioritize activities, resolve issues and deliver on time.
• Participate in overall project design and manage product lifecycle to meet financial and business goals.
• Collaborate with developers on requirements, supervise development, review deliverables and ensure client satisfaction.
• Plan resources for new opportunities and existing business, recruit and onboard talent.
• Drive knowledge management, define required skills and arrange training using L&D capabilities.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience with Python and cloud technologies.
• 2+ years delivering projects using Agile (Kanban or Scrum preferred).
• Proven expertise in project management and software engineering standards.
• Experience leading teams of 15+ members and handling people‑management challenges.
• Strong leadership, communication skills and English level B2 or higher.
