Senior Fullstack/Backend Engineer (Python) – Billing Team

About the role

FunnelFox is seeking a senior full‑stack/backend engineer with strong Python expertise to join the Billing team. You will help scale and enhance the core billing and payment platform that drives the company’s growth in the Web2App market.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve core billing functionality and payment flows.
• Develop reliable, scalable backend services using Python and PostgreSQL.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, and operational resilience.
• Create monitoring, alerting, and incident‑investigation processes.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high‑impact features.

Required profile

• Strong backend engineering experience with Python.
• Good understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges.
• Experience working in fast‑changing, startup environments.
• Ability to work autonomously on partially defined requirements.
• Strong ownership mindset and pragmatic engineering judgment.
