Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build and evolve our cloud‑native data platform on Google Cloud. The role combines strong software engineering practice with deep data expertise to deliver reliable, scalable pipelines that serve analytics, machine‑learning and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain a modern data platform on GCP, applying Medallion Architecture principles.
• Develop and operate batch and streaming pipelines using Python, Airflow, Dataflow and Pub/Sub.
• Create and manage data models, contracts and integration standards across internal services and third‑party APIs.
• Implement data quality, monitoring and SLA management, ensuring platform reliability.
• Drive Infrastructure‑as‑Code, CI/CD and automation with Terraform, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, Product and Engineering teams to support their data needs.

Required profile

• 6+ years of data engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a senior capacity.
• Strong software engineering background with expert‑level Python skills.
• Proven track record building cloud‑based data platforms on Google Cloud.
• Experience delivering production‑grade ETL/ELT, streaming and API integration solutions.
