Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure and GitLab (DXOne) environments that enable large‑scale migration projects. The role offers full remote flexibility across Georgia, allowing you to work from home, our offices in Tbilisi or Batumi, or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure AWS infrastructure to support re‑platforming, refactoring, and re‑architecting initiatives.
• Create and configure virtual machines following best‑practice guidelines.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitLab, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Apply core AWS security best practices, including security groups and IAM roles.
• Develop scripts for automation and deployment tasks using PowerShell and Python.
• Support migration efforts across various transformation scenarios.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in AWS DevOps, infrastructure setup, and CI/CD automation.
• Strong proficiency with Git, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Deep knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation for IaC.
• Solid understanding of AWS security concepts, VM provisioning, and scripting.
• Professional English communication skills (B2+).
