SAP Cloud Platform Developer (Remote – Georgia)

About the role

EPAM is looking for a motivated SAP Cloud Platform Developer to join its global engineering team. You will work remotely from anywhere in Georgia, collaborating on international projects that help customers modernize and scale their SAP solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and specify business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Design, implement, test and deploy solutions using SAP programming models and cloud services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional development teams and product managers in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
• Mentor junior engineers on software design, coding standards and test‑driven development.
• Promote best practices such as Cloud‑Native Development and Live Site First.
• Deliver high‑quality code and features within short development and release cycles.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and cloud‑native principles.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) development processes.
• DevOps mindset with ownership of the full deployment lifecycle.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
• Willingness to stay up‑to‑date with emerging SAP and cloud technologies.

Required skills

• Java, JavaScript, ABAP/4, Node.js or C++ (at least one).
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform (Cloud Foundry) and its services.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, Azure or Cloud Foundry.
• Building scalable web applications using jQuery, server‑side JavaScript, REST or OData.
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (optional).
• Understanding of SAP Fiori UX principles (optional).
• Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model or SAP Cloud SDK (optional).
