SAP Cloud Platform Developer (Remote, Georgia)

About the role

EPAM is looking for a motivated SAP Cloud Platform Developer to join its global engineering team. You will work remotely from anywhere in Georgia, collaborating on international projects that help customers modernize their operations using cloud-native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and specify business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Design, implement, test and deliver solutions on SAP Cloud Platform using micro‑service architecture.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional development teams and product managers in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Mentor junior engineers on design patterns, coding standards and test‑driven development.
• Promote best practices such as Cloud‑Native Development and Live Site First.

Required profile

• Strong logical thinking, persistence and a passion for technology.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and modern development processes.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a distributed team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one language: Java, JavaScript, ABAP/4, Node.js or C++.
• Solid knowledge of microservice architecture and cloud platforms (SAP Cloud Platform, Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry).
• Experience with web technologies such as jQuery, REST, OData.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and deployment lifecycles.
• Familiarity with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori UX, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model and SAP Cloud SDK is a plus.
