Registered Nurse – MedSurg Night Shift

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide high‑quality, evidence‑based care to MedSurg patients during the night shift. Working within a collaborative care team, the RN acts as a liaison between patients, families, providers, and staff to ensure safe and effective communication and advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care planning, and deliver safe, evidence‑based interventions.
• Coordinate patient flow, prioritize actions, and enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, care provided, and any incidents.
• Respond to patient concerns, serve as an educational resource, and promote patient‑ and family‑centered care.
• Participate in performance‑improvement initiatives and support organizational quality and safety goals.
• Maintain professional licensure and certifications, and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Mentor and support fellow nurses, fostering a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Valid RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and collaborative skills.
