Physical Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation and LTAC hospital teams. The role involves evaluating and treating patients, documenting care in electronic medical records, and providing education to patients, families, and staff while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial and discharge assessments, set functional goals, and develop documented treatment plans.
• Deliver timely, goal‑oriented therapy interventions and adjust plans based on patient progress.
• Identify educational needs and provide PRN services to patients and staff.
• Manage equipment orders, liaise with vendors and external professionals.
• Mentor interns, participate in team meetings, and engage in ongoing skills checks and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (Doctoral degree preferred).
• Georgia Physical Therapy license or eligibility.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum one year of experience in rehabilitation settings such as SNF, LTACH, or acute care.
• Basic computer literacy.

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
