About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a National Consultant to support the Unified Migration Analytical System (UMAS) in Georgia. The consultant will assess the current state of UMAS, evaluate its effectiveness and trust, and propose technical enhancements aligned with standardized migration data methodologies.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct a focused current‑state, effectiveness and trust assessment of UMAS.
- Engage with the Public Service Development Agency (PSDA/SCMI), data‑owning institutions and end‑users to gather requirements.
- Identify recommendations and priority use cases from the EMD migration data methodology that are technically and institutionally applicable to UMAS.
- Prepare detailed technical requirements and recommendations for the implementation roadmap.
- Give special attention to integrating foreign‑student analytics and foreign‑migrant‑worker data.
Required profile
- National consultant with proven experience in migration data systems and analytics.
- Familiarity with standardized migration data methodologies, especially the EMD framework.
- Ability to work closely with government agencies, inter‑governmental bodies and NGOs.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills to produce technical specifications.
