Lead DevOps Engineer – Azure

About the role

EPAM Georgia is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable Azure infrastructure that supports AI/ML workloads. You will work remotely from anywhere in Georgia while collaborating closely with development, QA, and R&D teams to deliver high‑quality, rapid‑delivery solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage Azure environments optimized for AI/ML workloads.
• Deploy and maintain Azure AI services such as OpenAI, AI Search, AI Foundry, and API Management.
• Automate application deployment and scaling using Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Implement security, compliance, and cost‑management best practices.
• Monitor infrastructure health with Azure Monitor and Seq, and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging cloud, AI, and DevOps technologies.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience building secure, well‑architected Azure environments.
• Hands‑on experience with modern Azure AI tooling (AI Search, OpenAI, AI Foundry, APIM).
• Strong background in Kubernetes orchestration and container management.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Seq and Azure Monitor.
