Lead Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer to drive data strategy for clients across finance, telecom, e‑commerce, media, insurance, oil & gas, and pharma. The role blends hands‑on technical work with strategic leadership, guiding teams to build robust data warehouses and executive‑level dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and inspire a team of data analysts and BI engineers.
• Collaborate directly with product owners and C‑level stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver interactive demos.
• Define standards for visualization design, performance tuning, query optimization and QA testing.
• Design and implement advanced dashboards using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Architect scalable dimensional models (star and snowflake schemas) and central data‑warehouse solutions.
• Build, manage and optimise automated ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality with tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Oversee security configurations, including row‑level security and workspace governance.
• Develop advanced analytics models (RFM, ABC/XYZ, CLV) and monitoring frameworks for key metrics.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience creating high‑performance BI dashboards and data models.
• At least 1 year of proven leadership or mentoring experience in an Agile environment.
• Expert‑level SQL knowledge and experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server) and columnar/cloud databases (ClickHouse, AWS Redshift).
• Strong understanding of modern data architecture concepts (DWH, Data Lakes, Lakehouses, Data Marts).
