Data Technology Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Data Technology Consultant to shape and operationalise a robust data product framework. You will define what a data product means for the organisation, establish governance structures and design scalable workflows that enable teams to ingest, publish and manage data assets confidently. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Georgia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a practical definition of a "data product" tailored to the organisation’s context.
• Design and implement a transparent ownership model with clear accountability for each data product.
• Set documentation standards and quality benchmarks for all data products.
• Document step‑by‑step procedures for data ingestion, product creation and secure publishing.
• Create repeatable, user‑friendly workflows to reduce friction across teams.
• Provide guidance on safe, compliant data handling while maintaining data integrity.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to onboard users.
• Establish a central documentation strategy and enforce standards for product descriptions and ownership.
• Implement discoverability mechanisms such as searchable catalogs and metadata tagging.
• Define baseline access‑control principles and scalable data‑quality management approaches.
• Design a lightweight governance cadence integrated with platform usage metrics.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in a data‑focused consulting or operations role.
• Proven background in data governance, data management or data product operations.
• Demonstrated ability to define and operationalise frameworks and workflows in dynamic environments.
• Exceptional documentation and communication skills, capable of translating complex concepts.
