Content Editor – Health & Fitness Media

About the role

Fitnet is looking for a part‑time, hybrid Content Editor to own the editorial calendar, quality standards, and voice of its Georgian‑language health media platform and online store. You will work with an AI‑assisted drafting pipeline, focusing on judgment, verification, and rewriting rather than starting from a blank page.

Key responsibilities

• Review, verify, and approve every article before publication.
• Check health claims against primary sources and ensure evidence‑based content.
• Define and maintain a clear, useful Georgian editorial voice.
• Decide coverage priorities and schedule topics across both publications.
• Rewrite and restructure drafts to publishable quality.
• Direct imagery and presentation for each piece.
• Own search performance, execute keyword strategy, and adjust the calendar based on results.
• Coordinate with the in‑house marketing team for distribution and social promotion.

Required profile

• Native‑level written Georgian and strong English reading ability.
• Minimum 2 years experience in editorial, content, or content marketing with a demonstrable portfolio.
• Solid understanding of fitness, training, and nutrition concepts.
• Instinctive skepticism and ability to make independent editorial decisions.
• Comfortable working without direct supervision and using AI‑assisted tools.

Required skills

• Practical SEO knowledge (search intent, structure, internal linking).
• Proficiency with AI‑assisted drafting tools.

What we offer

• Full ownership of two publications with a named byline.
• Fixed pay plus quarterly bonuses tied to agreed goals.
• Editorial independence; commercial content is clearly labeled.
• Opportunity to grow the role as the publications expand.
• A fast‑moving team that values autonomy and avoids micromanagement.
