Cloudflare Developer, Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cloudflare Developer (Platform Engineer) to join a high‑profile global client project in the pharmaceutical sector. The role focuses on designing, building, and scaling edge‑native solutions using the Cloudflare Development Platform, with a strong emphasis on Workers, AI capabilities, and secure, high‑performance architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications on Cloudflare Workers and the broader Cloudflare Development Platform.
• Implement edge‑native services that meet enterprise‑grade performance, security, and scalability requirements.
• Integrate and optimise Cloudflare AI tools such as Workers AI, AI Gateway, and Vectorize.
• Connect Cloudflare services with existing enterprise systems and cloud environments.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, best‑practice guidelines, and platform standards.
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and harden production workloads at the edge.
• Collaborate with client engineering, security, and platform teams.
• Provide technical mentorship as the engineering team grows.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with the Cloudflare Development Platform.
• Proven expertise in building and deploying Cloudflare Workers.
• Strong understanding of edge computing, serverless architectures, and API‑centric design.
• Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher).
• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments is a strong plus.
