Sr Software Engineer - Full Stack

About the role

OpenGov is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer to build AI‑driven SaaS solutions that improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability for government agencies. You will lead the design and delivery of multi‑tenant cloud‑native features while shaping the team’s AI‑native development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead, overseeing design, development, testing, and deployment of cloud‑native solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex architectural bottlenecks with a proactive attitude.
• Drive the transition toward AI‑native development, championing AI‑powered tools and methodologies.
• Rapidly master new codebases to deliver high‑quality contributions.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration to translate business priorities into shipped features.
• Represent the team’s technical interests in stakeholder meetings and engineering forums.
• Produce clean, well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous improvement.
