SME Credit Analyst

About the role

The Bank of Georgia is seeking an SME Credit Analyst to join its Small and Medium Business Credit Analysis department in Tbilisi. You will play a key role in evaluating credit proposals, building financial models, and ensuring the soundness of the bank's SME portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze projects and assess associated risks.
• Process and analyze project financial statements.
• Develop financial models and prepare forecasted financial data.
• Clarify client needs, structure financing solutions, and recommend adjustments when necessary.
• Prepare credit applications and present them to the credit committee.
• Detect credit risks promptly and take appropriate actions.
• Monitor existing portfolio clients on an ongoing basis.

Required profile

• Higher education in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Mathematics.
• Minimum two years of experience in banking, audit, or finance.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and financial ratio analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Preferable knowledge of English and Russian.
• Analytical and logical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
