Finance Senior Manager

About the role

As the Finance Senior Manager at HMGMA, you will shape the financial strategy of Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass‑production plant. You will ensure the plant’s financial health, support long‑term sustainability and drive profitability across accounting, treasury and tax functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead General Accounting, Treasury and Tax functions while ensuring compliance with IFRS, GAAP and corporate policies.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimise cash flow, tax efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Supervise monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings and reporting.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, tax authorities and other financial institutions.
• Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership to support growth and operational efficiency.
• Establish internal controls and lead risk‑management initiatives, including currency and liquidity risk.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance to align corporate tax strategy with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, IFRS, GAAP and tax laws.
• Proven experience in financial planning, forecasting and analysis within manufacturing or automotive industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
