Senior Solutions Architect – Financial Services (Fintech / Data Providers)

About the role

Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join its Financial Services team. In this customer‑facing position you will help financial institutions and fintech data providers leverage the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to solve complex data engineering and analytics challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales and post‑sales teams to articulate how Databricks can address business problems.
• Provide technical leadership, design reference architectures, and run proof‑of‑concepts for strategic customers.
• Validate integrations with public cloud services and third‑party applications.
• Deliver presentations, demos, and workshops to showcase solutions.
• Travel within the assigned East Coast territory to meet customers and build trusted advisor relationships.

Required profile

• 10+ years in a pre‑sales, consulting, or customer‑facing technical role, preferably with big‑data technologies.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems for financial services or related domains.
• Proven ability to work with global system integrators, consulting firms, or financial‑services technology providers.
• Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
