Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Tbilisi. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital banking platforms through automated testing frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve issues throughout the software lifecycle.
• Implement and optimise test automation as part of the CI/CD pipeline for faster and more reliable releases.
• Perform regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing across web and API layers.
• Monitor and maintain test environments and results to ensure continuous test coverage.

Required profile

• Proven professional experience in both manual and automated QA.
• Hands‑on experience building automation frameworks from scratch, preferably with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of software development, testing principles, and Agile/DevOps workflows.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and optionally mobile apps.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
