Android Developer

About the role

You’ll build individual Android features end‑to‑end in Kotlin, working closely with product, design, and backend teams to ship reliable, user‑facing functionality. You’ll work within a Kotlin/Jetpack Compose codebase, shipping through GitLab with automated release trains every three weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Work within a Kotlin/Jetpack Compose codebase and ship releases on a regular cadence.
• Collaborate daily with designers, product managers, backend engineers, and QA to define and deliver features.
• Operate inside a modern app architecture (MVI + Clean) with dependency injection and reactive data flows.
• Develop and implement individual features from scratch with high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Integrate RESTful APIs into the Android app using OkHttp.
• Conduct code reviews, give feedback, and refactor code to uphold quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues surfaced by users or through testing.
• Partner with QA to ensure proper test coverage and release quality.

Required profile

• 4+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with modern app architecture (MVI + Clean principles) and dependency injection (Dagger).
• Solid experience integrating RESTful APIs (OkHttp) and working with coroutines and Kotlin Flow.
• Practical experience writing unit/integration tests (Mockito, JUnit).
• Comfortable with Git‑based workflows and structured release cycles (GitLab, release trains).
