Senior Python Developer – Backend (Django & Microservices)

About the role

TradingView is looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join its high‑traffic backend team in Tbilisi. You will work on a large Django monolith, refactor it into scalable micro‑services, and ensure the platform remains fast and reliable for millions of daily users.

Key responsibilities

• Break up the existing Django monolith and design independent, fault‑tolerant micro‑services.
• Develop and integrate new high‑load features, handling millions of simultaneous users.
• Design service architectures, select appropriate data processing, messaging and streaming solutions.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes and related tooling to build resilient, containerized services.
• Collaborate with infrastructure experts on networking, load balancing and monitoring.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Python expertise with at least 2 years of hands‑on work.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures and modern backend web technologies.
• Experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Ability to design solutions and choose appropriate tools for complex systems.
• Basic knowledge of databases, messaging systems and data streaming.
• Experience with containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
