Senior Auditor

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior Auditor in Tbilisi to help clients meet their reporting requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. The role centres on delivering high-quality audit activities, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and engagement teams on complex issues, and mentoring junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fieldwork, manage performance and keep engagement leaders updated on audit engagements
• Complete audit processes and document higher-risk areas to strengthen technical and business skills
• Engage clients and provide authoritative advice and professionalism throughout transactions
• Keep up with current market trends and share knowledge to develop junior colleagues
• Understand clients' ambitions and refer them to colleagues in other teams to broaden business relationships

Required profile

• 3 to 6 years of work experience as an Auditor in an accountancy firm
• Passed ACCA FR and AA papers
• Fluent written and spoken English, with native-level proficiency in Georgian
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management
• Desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Proven project management skills
• Experience planning, executing and reporting audits in the Financial Services industry is an advantage

Required skills

• Working knowledge of IFRS
• ACCA FR and AA papers passed
