Senior Auditor

About the role

The Senior Auditor will lead complex tax and financial audits of businesses across Georgia, ensuring compliance with national tax legislation. This full‑time, on‑site position in Tbilisi requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards while interacting with taxpayers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct complex tax and financial audits of businesses to verify compliance with Georgian tax laws.
• Review financial records, evaluate internal controls and analyse tax returns to identify risks and irregularities.
• Prepare clear audit reports, recommend corrective actions and advise taxpayers on compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams, mentor junior auditors and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong auditing and accounting background with experience in tax audits and financial statement analysis.
• In‑depth knowledge of Georgian tax legislation and related financial reporting standards.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities, high integrity and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Georgian; working proficiency in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in tax administration or public‑sector auditing is highly beneficial.

• Experience using databases and tax or ERP audit systems.
