About the role

The School Principal leads the Montessori School of Georgia’s campus in Tbilisi, ensuring that daily operations align with Montessori philosophy and the school’s holistic development mission. This full-time, on-site position oversees the educational environment for middle-school learners, fostering independence, curiosity and inclusive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support teaching staff, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
• Guide curriculum implementation and coordinate interest-based learning activities.
• Manage school schedules, admissions processes, and budgeting oversight.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment compliant with local educational regulations.
• Communicate regularly with families, sharing student progress and addressing concerns.
• Coordinate middle-school programs and monitor academic and developmental outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong educational leadership with experience in team management and school culture development.
• Background in curriculum development, preferably Montessori or learner-centered models.
• Experience in middle-school education and understanding of adolescent development.
• Relevant degree in Education or related field; advanced qualifications or Montessori certification are a plus.
• Proven ability to manage operations, scheduling and compliance with local regulations.
• Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
• Fluency in English and Georgian.
