About the role

The bank is seeking a Head of the SME Business Group to lead loan sales, expand the portfolio and ensure its quality. The role combines credit analysis, direct marketing, and team leadership to meet growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Increase the number and volume of loans granted by the credit team while maintaining portfolio quality.
• Plan, prioritize and control daily activities of the subordinate group, introduce new standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Organise and lead direct‑marketing campaigns when required.
• Identify client needs, propose suitable products and explain their advantages.
• Cross‑sell the full range of the bank’s products.
• Collaborate with credit experts to analyse customers’ business and financial status.
• Conduct periodic selective monitoring of loans and react to changes during the credit period.
• Manage problem loans and coordinate solutions with relevant committees.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for credit assistants and present performance recommendations to management.

Required profile

• Higher education, preferably in economics, finance, marketing, management or a technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business credit and sales; managerial experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of business credit products, legal documentation, and financial analysis (balance sheet, profit‑loss, cash‑flow).
• Basic understanding of general management principles.
• Strong sales ability, persuasive verbal communication and effective team leadership.
• Independent decision‑making, planning, goal setting and achievement.
• Analytical, logical thinking with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
