Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

Esquisse Boutique Hotel, a 57‑room boutique property in the heart of Georgia’s Kakheti wine region, is seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor. You will lead the restaurant team, ensure seamless daily operations, and uphold the high service standards that define our guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and maintain high service quality.
• Organise workflow, allocate tasks, and manage workstations for the restaurant team.
• Prepare staff schedules and shift rosters.
• Monitor staff performance, provide support, and handle guest requests or complaints.
• Train, develop, and motivate team members.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the restaurant.
• Facilitate communication between kitchen and restaurant staff.
• Supervise inventory control, stock‑taking, and bar inventory processes.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate re‑checks.
• Coordinate product and stock orders, monitor receiving, storage, and usage.
• Report stock levels and operational needs to management.
• Monitor shift closing procedures and ensure compliance with internal standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the restaurant industry.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Fluent English.
• Good knowledge of restaurant and bar operations.
• Understanding of inventory control, stock‑taking, and ordering processes.
• Ability to prepare staff schedules and shift rosters.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
• High responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or relevant operational software.
