Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Financial Reporting Specialist supports monthly and annual financial reporting in line with GAAP and IFRS, delivering accurate and timely information for both local and headquarters reporting. The role involves analysis of actuals versus forecasts, variance investigation, accrual preparation, and collaboration with budget holders and HQ teams.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in month‑end closing according to GAAP reporting requirements.
• Support the yearly IFRS audit process execution.
• Analyze monthly actuals versus forecast and disclose variances as requested.
• Calculate monthly market contribution for HQ reporting using system data.
• Review and investigate forecast differences in margin split by SKU.
• Prepare monthly GAAP accruals based on budget‑holder data and local reporting.
• Handle one‑off disclosure requests from HQ on actual results.
• Propose and drive system changes to resolve reporting issues.
• Support implementation and ongoing application of GAAP accounting in reporting systems.

Required profile

• Higher education in business administration, preferably finance, accounting or audit.
• Previous experience or internship in finance, accounting or audit.
• Fluency in Georgian and English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to a changing business environment and work well in a team.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
