About the role
The QA Automation Engineer designs automated tests to validate software functionality. They create test designs, write scripts, install automation protocols, report results, and actively participate in the Scrum team.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute test scenarios using approved tools.
- Participate in Scrum Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers and product managers.
- Create detailed, well‑structured test plans and scenarios.
- Perform regression and exploratory testing, highlighting problem areas.
- Write automation scripts and implement testing applications, including UI automation.
- Conduct automated load and stress tests and perform manual testing when required.
- Identify, record, document and track bugs throughout the testing cycle.
- Generate and verify test execution reports and maintain up‑to‑date tests in the repository.
