Nurse Reentry Instructor/Coordinator – Economic Development

About the role

The State of Georgia seeks a Nurse Reentry Instructor/Coordinator to deliver standardized didactic training and oversee clinical reentry activities for returning nurses. This part‑time, episodic role supports economic development by preparing qualified nurses for workforce reentry.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate 40 hours of TCSG standardized didactic instruction.
• Coordinate 160 hours of clinical reentry experiences, ensuring documentation and Board compliance.
• Maintain accurate regulatory records and compliance reports.
• Travel to clinical sites as needed and provide occasional evening/weekend support.

Required profile

• Active, unencumbered Georgia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience.
• Comfort using Blackboard and handling regulatory documentation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to submit unofficial transcripts, certifications, and a detailed resume.
