MICE and Events Manager

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, client‑focused MICE and Events Manager to turn incoming leads into successful events and oversee their full operational delivery. The role involves crafting proposals, presenting to clients, building supplier networks and ensuring flawless execution from brief to wrap‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, evaluate and respond to MICE enquiries; prepare tailored proposals and presentations.
• Conduct client meetings, site inspections and pitches to convert leads into bookings; negotiate terms and contracts.
• Build and maintain relationships with venues, AV, F&B, transport, accommodation and entertainment suppliers; source, compare and negotiate to secure best value.
• Plan and manage the full operational execution of events, including detailed run‑of‑show documents, coordination of internal teams and external suppliers, on‑site oversight and post‑event follow‑up.
• Act as the single point of contact for clients throughout the event journey, manage expectations and gather post‑event feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of events, budgets and supplier contacts; track budgets and prepare post‑event performance reports.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in MICE coordination or event management.
• Proven ability to manage suppliers and deliver complex, multi‑component events.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a calm, problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
