Local Coordinator for the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Georgia

About the role

The National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Georgia is seeking a Local Coordinator to lead the implementation and promotion of the Erasmus+ programme across the country. The role will be based in Georgia and will act as the main liaison between the European Education and Culture Executive Agency, the EU Delegation, and national authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Erasmus+ through information campaigns, maintain a dedicated website and produce outreach material.
• Provide training and support to potential applicants, organising workshops on proposal preparation and programme specifics.
• Disseminate project results, contribute to studies, statistics and reports for the European Commission and EACEA.
• Monitor higher‑education developments, prepare briefing papers and analytical notes on Erasmus+ Higher Education Reform Experts activities.
• Administer the NEO, manage technical and administrative staff, oversee the budget, handle financial matters and draft implementation reports.
• Coordinate reporting and cooperation with EACEA, the EU Delegation, national and local authorities, and maintain links with other NEOs and National Agencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme coordination, promotion and stakeholder outreach.
• Familiarity with the Erasmus+ programme and its priorities.
• Experience in organising training sessions and supporting applicants.
• Ability to manage budgets, supervise staff and produce analytical reports.
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Georgian is an advantage.
