Part‑Time Educator for After‑School Program

About the role

Right At School is seeking a part‑time Educator to lead daily activities for students at Walnut Grove Elementary. The position runs Monday‑Friday afternoons, providing a safe, engaging environment that blends learning with fun.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily program meetings to review goals, share ideas and ensure team accountability.
• Prepare and facilitate structured fitness, educational and enrichment activities that align with program objectives.
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain a nurturing atmosphere.
• Monitor safety, document attendance and incidents, and follow all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and school personnel.

Required profile

• Outstanding customer‑service and relationship‑building abilities.
• At least one year of experience working with children under 13 (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb and meet Georgia state requirements, including First Aid and CPR certification.
• High school diploma or GED required; 18 + years of age.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
