Junior Back-End Engineer

About the role

Flutter Central & Eastern Europe is seeking a Junior Back-End Engineer to develop and maintain scalable .NET services. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑performance APIs that support our iGaming platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using .NET and C#.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, product owners and other stakeholders to deliver secure, robust solutions.
• Participate in technical design discussions and continuously improve backend architecture and performance.
• Integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases, message brokers, third‑party services and external APIs.
• Write clean, reusable, testable code, create unit tests and conduct code reviews.

Required profile

• Up to 1 year of software engineering experience or equivalent internship/project work.
• Basic exposure to .NET/C# and a willingness to deepen expertise.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and basic backend architecture concepts.
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows; comfortable with Agile processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
