About the role

The company “2 ნაბიჯი”, a leading Georgian retail chain, is seeking a qualified Jurist to provide comprehensive legal support across corporate, commercial, labour, and data‑protection matters. The role is based in Tbilisi and involves advising internal stakeholders, drafting and reviewing contracts, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on contractual, corporate, labour, commercial, administrative and compliance issues, including personal data protection.
• Draft, analyse, review and update contracts and other legal documents.
• Prepare legal opinions and written positions based on current legislation and case law.
• Monitor legislative changes and support their implementation within the company.
• Participate in the development and revision of internal policies, procedures and corporate documents.
• Represent the company before courts and administrative bodies, and liaise with state registries.
• Ensure registration of company rights and data in the appropriate registers.
• Coordinate with external legal consultants when necessary and report progress to management.

Required profile

• Higher legal education, preferably a Master’s degree in private law.
• Minimum three years of experience in private/business law.
• Proven practice in drafting and analysing contracts and other legal documents.
• Experience with personal data protection legislation is desirable.
• Experience representing clients before courts and administrative authorities.
• Membership in the Georgian Bar Association is preferred.
• Ability to work with English‑ and Russian‑language legal documents.
• Knowledge of standard office computer programs.
