About the role

The Information Security Analyst will join the security governance team of a leading regional financial institution. You will support the implementation of security controls, risk management, and compliance across business and technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in business and technology projects to define security requirements and ensure alignment with security policies.
• Assist in security assessments of information systems, processes, and new technological solutions.
• Identify, evaluate, document, and monitor mitigation actions for information security risks.
• Conduct periodic effectiveness reviews of security controls and prepare related reports.
• Support the handling of security exceptions and coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Monitor access management and other security controls, contributing to their assessment.
• Take part in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and other security testing activities, tracking remediation.
• Evaluate compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness programs.
• Participate in security incident management as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong command of English (written and verbal).
• Junior candidates: basic knowledge of information security or technology areas, with internships, personal projects, courses, CTF participation or similar experience considered a plus.
• Mid‑level candidates: proven practical experience in information security, IT risk, IT audit, infrastructure, software development or related fields; experience with security risk, control, or assessment processes is a significant advantage.
