Head of Inventory Management (Remote, Russian Speaker)

About the role

Whizz is looking for a Head of Inventory Management to take full ownership of spare‑parts flow across its New Jersey warehouse and city shops. The role is fully remote and reports directly to the CEO and Operations Director.

Key responsibilities

• Align stock records with physical inventory at the main warehouse and city locations, establishing regular cycle counts.
• Define minimum and maximum stock levels for key components and drive purchasing to prevent shortages.
• Document and standardise warehouse processes (receiving, transfers, write‑offs, counts) and ensure team adherence.
• Launch and manage a used‑parts refurbishment programme, coordinating collection, rebuild and redeployment.
• Lead the inventory team, setting goals and monitoring performance.
• Collaborate with developers on the ERP/WMS module, specifying requirements and validating functionality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in inventory or warehouse management, preferably in spare‑parts, automotive, service or e‑commerce environments.
• Proven ability to design processes and get cross‑functional teams to follow them.
• Fluent in English and Russian; able to work at least 4 hours overlapping with New York business hours.
• Self‑starter who digs into data rather than waiting for reports.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with an ERP or Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.
• Use of AI tools for routine tasks.
