Package Handler – 3rd Shift

About the role

The Package Handler will efficiently process and sort mail and parcels on the 3rd shift, ensuring accurate labeling and meeting sorting targets in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Sort and process incoming mail and parcels according to area requirements and quality standards.
• Operate sorting machinery, load cardboard boxes or bins, and place items onto conveyors.
• Inspect labels for correct placement and matching zip codes.
• Scan labels, maintain workstation cleanliness, and adapt to different operational areas as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent training preferred.
• Ability to walk, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance for heavier loads).
• Physical stamina to reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel and work in varying temperatures.
• Capability to work consistently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Active listening and execution of verbal instructions.
• Ability to sort alphabetically and numerically.
• Understanding of basic math processes (count, addition, subtraction).
• Collaboration with colleagues to achieve common goals.
