Finance Operations Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Operations Lead to own and streamline cash flow, treasury, and payment processes across multiple entities and currencies. You will work remotely as a contractor, partnering directly with the founders to build automated, visible finance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash cycle for four entities, handling $5M+ monthly and high‑volume USD revenue.
• Fund GBP and AED corporate cards for Meta ad spend and ensure uninterrupted ad operations.
• Build a live cash‑position dashboard for the founding team.
• Lead migration from Pleo/UK to Qashio (UAE‑native) and evaluate virtual‑card platforms.
• Eliminate manual card‑topping through automation and reconciliation.
• Audit manual processes, create SOPs, and enforce them across cash, payments, refunds, and reconciliation.
• Oversee external bookkeeping partner (Emifast) for accuracy and timeliness in Xero.
• Deliver a concise weekly cash and P&L summary.

Required profile

• 7+ years in finance operations, treasury, or senior finance roles with high transaction volume.
• Proven multi‑currency, multi‑entity experience.
• Hands‑on builder of systems and automations, not reliant on spreadsheets.
• Active user of AI tools for finance reporting.
• Experience managing external bookkeeping or accounting partners.
• Preferably familiar with UAE/DMCC entities and performance‑marketing environments.
• CIMA, ACCA, or CA qualification is a plus.
