Finance Analyst III – Managed Care

About the role

The Finance Analyst III partners with internal and external stakeholders to support Centene's Provider Network team. The role focuses on evaluating and interpreting financial analyses and models, driving cost‑saving initiatives, and providing data‑driven insights for network and reimbursement decisions. Candidates with managed‑care experience will excel in this fully remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Identify competitive trends and present findings to senior management.
• Lead market calls and support day‑to‑day market needs to keep initiatives aligned with department goals.
• Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
• Perform financial forecasting, reconcile internal accounts, and manage complex high‑level analyses.
• Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring accurate financial recording.
• Manage multiple high‑value initiatives from planning through implementation, coordinating with project management and leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of financial or data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare or managed care.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
