About the role

The Financial Institution Risk Officer will support TBC Bank in preventing money‑laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions breaches. The role combines analytical work, regulatory compliance and interaction with correspondent banks to safeguard the bank’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct AML/CFT investigations and ensure compliance with anti‑terrorism financing regulations.
• Apply sanctions screening requirements and adhere to relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Analyse potential and existing correspondent banks, contributing to partnership decisions.
• Request, analyse and document additional information and documentation as needed.
• Manage incoming RFI requests, prepare responses and maintain accurate records.
• Assess, monitor and periodically re‑evaluate correspondent bank risk.
• Collaborate with other bank units to obtain supplementary data or documentation.
• Complete AML/SANCTIONS questionnaires and extract data from internal systems.
• Identify unusual or suspicious transactions, perform analysis and prepare appropriate reports.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the direct manager.

Required profile

• Higher education degree.
• Strong ability to locate and analyse detailed information.
• High proficiency in English (reading, writing, comprehension).
• Experience with international transactions and sanctions compliance is desirable.
• Quick learning ability and orientation towards continuous development.
• Independent decision‑making and strong organisational skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and sanctions frameworks.
• Experience in risk assessment and monitoring of correspondent banks.
• Proficiency in using modern AI tools and digital technologies for data analysis.
