About the role
The Bank of Georgia is seeking an Expert Network Engineer to join its technology and infrastructure teams. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure, stable, and high‑performance network that supports the bank’s mission‑critical services.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deploy and operate large‑scale enterprise and service‑provider networks.
- Manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS) and advanced routing policies.
- Implement data‑center architectures such as spine‑leaf, VXLAN/EVPN, MLAG/VPC.
- Configure MPLS, L3VPN, VRF, QoS and WAN solutions.
- Ensure network security through firewalls, ACLs, IPS/IDS, IPsec VPN and 802.1X.
- Monitor network health using SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow/sFlow and telemetry.
- Perform complex production troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
- Develop technical documentation, HLD/LLD and design diagrams.
Required profile
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with large‑scale enterprise or service‑provider networks.
- Expert‑level knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching and network architecture.
- Strong background in high‑availability design and zero‑downtime change management.
- Experience integrating network infrastructure with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

- Cisco IOS‑XE, NX‑OS (Arista EOS, Juniper Junos a plus)

- Enterprise Wi‑Fi, controller‑based architecture, RF fundamentals

- AWS, Azure, Cisco ACI
- Fortinet / Palo Alto, SD‑WAN, SASE, ZTNA
